The Orcs of the Er’Sael clan possess the knowledge of magic that underlies their power. Only the chieftain of the Er’Sael clan has at his disposal the fearsome Black Shepherds, Alchemists, and the fanatical, holy-hammer-wielding Priests of Sael.
When choosing an army of Orcs, you will have high Strength in your units, but their hyperactive nature and tendency towards aggression will hinder their effective prayers. You can compensate for this disadvantage by making proper use of Champions and the Black Shepherd’s special ability.
As your Basic Units, you will have:
- Fangs of Sael (Orc Warriors). Their “Brutality” rule will allow you to deal more damage during a charge.
In Elite Units, you will have:
- Rogues (Orc Mercenaries). Their “Brawl” rule will allow you to exploit unlucky enemy rolls during WS Tests to your advantage.
- Zadukats (Knuroses). This unit is an excellent addition to an Orc army due to its low base cost and the “Reckless” rule, which allows you to surprise your opponent at the most unexpected moment.
- Riders of Daaran. Highly mobile cavalry that will allow you to dominate the flanks of the battlefield.
Among Rare Units, you will find:
- Nerh (Black Orcs). A unit that possesses incredible destructive power when charging, and thanks to the “Rage” rule, you will have the chance to gain additional bonuses.
- Monks of the Shadow Temple. This unit will allow you to surprise your enemy and cause significant confusion in their ranks thanks to the “Master Ambush” rule.
- Larvae of Nalharap. An inexpensive creature to field that will allow you to effectively stall enemy units.
And finally, as for the Unique Units:
Your army will have a powerful single model. A proper use of the Prophet on Varanor will allow you to damage enemies within a 40 cm radius with a powerful magic. Moreover, the Prophet’s “Dark Aura” ability, available once per battle, will significantly complicate your opponent’s plans.
The final unit in your army will be the Priests of Sael. An excellent unit in terms of praying, as well as the Weapon Skill and Strength.
